Scars of Strength

Image
Time mends the wounds, But the scars will stay, A silent mark of battles fought, Etched on our skin each day. We learn to hold them close, A part of who we are, A story written in our flesh, A testament near and far. These scars, whisper softly, Of how far we’ve come along, Reminding us of strength within, And the pain that made us strong. Time heals the hurt, Yet the scars remain, A beautiful reminder Of all that we’ve gained.  - Moon Whisperer 🌙

A Year of Silence and Reslience

The Moon and Her Fairy

Image
Oh Moon Why are you so far away? Why can’t I hold you close, Or feel your warmth, Your gentle glow? I long for you to be with me, To light the shadows in my life, The way you brighten The darkest skies at night. Oh Moon, You shine all alone, Though stars surround you, Your light is but a borrowed glow, Reflecting the sun’s fiery soul. You come and go as you please, But when my eyes can’t find you, My heart shatters— Into a million pieces. Come down to me, my Moon, For I am your Moon Fairy, Lost and afraid without your light. Stay with me— And make the night feel right.

Once upon a Life...

Image
Once upon a time, there was a little girl whose birth brought happiness to her family. She was pampered and protected in every aspect of her life. She was really happy, yet something was missing—LOVE. Even though she received love from her family, every human longs for love from that one person who makes them feel complete. Just when she had given up hope of finding love, she met someone. Someone she had been waiting for... Someone who loved her, took care of her, and treated her like a princess. Someone who protected her and missed her even when she was still with him. He was everything she had ever imagined. She was completely happy with her life and finally felt whole. She had never felt this way before, and she cherished every moment of it. She missed him when he wasn’t around, and her eyes would search for him in a crowd. She was so deeply and madly in love that her family became a second priority. He was all she wanted in her life now. She prayed, cried, and begged God to let h...

Story Of a Heart Break

Image
I wish I could stop having nightmares. It’s been so long since I’ve slept peacefully. Not a single night have I had a dreamless sleep. My dreams mostly involve running away, being chased by zombies, or getting trapped in a maze where I’m searching for an escape but can’t find any. I would really like to analyze what all these dreams mean because dreams are the workings of the unconscious mind. I don’t seem to have any major issues in my life right now, yet I’m still plagued by such disturbing dreams. How strange… It would be better if we could stop feeling emotions altogether, like happiness, sorrow, hurt, pain, fear, excitement, etc. Especially love. Love is one emotion you have no control over. It takes full control of you—your heart, your mind, and your life. If it succeeds, it’s the best thing ever. You feel like you’re floating on air, and everything around you seems magical. But if it fails, it destroys you emotionally and mentally, and eventually, you might even end it physical...

The Weight of Expectations

Image
Okay… what is with Indian families wanting a slim, sexy, and long-haired daughter-in-law ? It’s because of these few families that girls from other families, which they have no clue about, suffer throughout their teenage and twenties years until they get married off. The mothers, who have overweight daughters, keep pestering the poor girl to lose weight, or else no one will marry her. I mean, honestly, how many girls actually want to get married in today’s era? Leave those who are in that pathetic thing called love . They might want to get married, but what about others? I don’t get the point. Are we girls trophies that need to be shown off? What’s with the obsession over looks anyway? She will eventually put on weight after marriage, or at least after she has her first kid. Then what will those families do? Throw her out of the house and say, “We’re sorry, but we can’t show you off anymore”? Why can’t people be a little more practical and realize that whatever we girls have, it’s al...

The First Emotion Break

Image
I slumped over my bed and allowed the weakness I was fighting to finally crush me. It was worse than I expected – the force of it took me by real surprise. No one should ever see this, not even my own family or the person responsible for my sudden breakdown. There was a smaller part of me – smaller, but getting louder and angrier by the minute, screaming at the rest of me. I knew that the new tear in my heart would always ache. That was just going to be a part of me now. Time would make it heal – that’s what everyone keeps saying. But I didn’t care if time healed me or not, as long as everyone around me could be happy and joyful with the decision I had made. They don’t need to suffer with me – along with me. Sometimes, I wondered... always wondered... if the way I see things, the world, do others see it the same way too? If so, then how come only I feel the pain and not them? Maybe there’s a glitch in my brain. The waves of pain I had been trying not to get too close to lapped up and p...
